Long before University of Advancing Technology (UAT) had a name, before campuses and labs and homework, there existed a world made entirely of energy, ideas, and potential.
In that realm, wyverns were not beasts of fire with four legs like dragons. They were guardians of knowledge, able to foresee the future of innovation. Born from the charged heart of storms, they embodied power. Lightning answered their command. Chaos bent to their will. And every current moved in harmony with them. Wrath was the fiercest among them, and he foresaw a world where the greatest technology minds gathered.
Determined to find this place, he set out on a quest. He didn’t know where it was, only that he would know it when he found it.
For millennia he searched, crossing into realms long turned to dust and ash. He found advanced civilizations, but none embodied the future he had beheld in his vision. As his search continued, his hope began to fade with the years.
Until he felt a spark through the cosmos, a tug to the edge of the universe. It pulled him through the stars until he reached the origin of the calling—UAT.
Where he found the people wicked smart, a family of relentless innovators driven by growth, pride, and honor. They worked fast but with purpose and mindfulness, owning every challenge they faced. They were not just brilliant minds; they were leaders in their own regard. United like a team sport, they were fun, friendly, and always pushing each other to do better tomorrow than they did today.
And Wrath knew his search was over.
Here at UAT, he stands as our official mascot, our guardian, hoarding and protecting students’ ideas. Every ambitious prototype, every daring line of code, every late-night revelation adds to his power. It surges like electricity beneath his scales, igniting his eyes and sparking across his wings.
As an ancient, legendary beast, Wrath is proud, curious, and bold, though his curiosity often leads him into mischief. If you ever feel an unexpected shock, that might be Wrath passing by. A mysterious power shortage? Perhaps he was taste-testing the current.
Though he cannot speak our tongue, he has a lot to say through low grunts, arched brows, tail twitches, and the occasional dramatic eye roll, which he’s had eternity to perfect.
When he’s not safeguarding ideas, Wrath enjoys overseeing the Maker Space lab and assisting as sous chef in the community kitchen. Some have caught him watching the fish intently in the Portal, while others have spotted him slumbering in the Commons, wings twitching as he dreams of the future of UAT.
But make no mistake. The Eye of Wrath is always watching, ensuring no student misses class, no idea goes unprotected, and no potential goes unrealized.
He can recite every digit of pi without hesitation. He remains undefeated in LARPing from his previous realm. And though he has lived for eons, nothing excites him more than witnessing the moment a student realizes they are capable of changing the world.
For Wrath searched the cosmos for this place, and in this new era of UAT, he is finally home.
