UAT: Accreditation

Why is Accreditation Important?

Accreditation is important to a university because it allows for the recognition of credits from one college by another. In addition, accreditation enables students at the accredited institution to receive Title IV funding financial aid. For UAT, our accreditation from the above listed organizations helps us to ensure quality through continuous improvement.

Major Accrediting Body

UAT is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and a Member of the North Central Association. Further information about The Higher Learning Commission may be contacted via  www.ncahigherlearningcommission.org or by phone: (800) 621-7440 / (312) 263-0456.
