An education at UAT is an investment, and we understand that the amount of aid you will receive may be a deciding factor in whether or not you attend. Financing an education requires planning and takes money, so talk with your family openly and early.  Find out which UAT expenses your family will cover and which ones will be your responsibility.  Create a budget to maintain control of your financial situation, limit spending, and borrow wisely.

You and your family have the primary responsibility of paying for your UAT education.  You may choose to fund your college career through scholarships, qualified prepaid or 529 savings plans, personal savings, and/or money from part-time employment.  Note that educational costs are not limited to tuition and room and board; they also include fees, books, and supplies as well as equipment, room materials, and miscellaneous expenses.   If personal resources are not enough to cover your UAT education, consider federal, state, and institutional aid.

Financial Aid Resources

Federal Student Aid (FSA) is financial help for eligible students to help pay for their educational expenses while enrolled in college.  Here you will find information on federal grants, loan, and work-study, as well as steps to obtaining federal aid.
