UAT: Online Scholarships

UAT-Online scholarships are available in the following categories: Leadership/Community-Building, Military, and Thinking/Lifelong Learning. These scholarships are designed to give online students the opportunity to participate in the UAT community from a distance while maintaining the same commitment to UAT values as on-campus students.

To maintain UAT-Online Scholarship eligibility, all recipients must do the following:

Maintain required college GPA for scholarship
Make satisfactory progress towards completion of UAT degree objectives
Uphold any and all stipulations of the scholarship contract

Scholarships

Geekdom Scholarship

This scholarship was developed to encourage UAT-Online students to make a positive impact on the online learning experience and make it even more "geek friendly" through the development of various online community building activities. These activities may include but are not limited to discussion forums, tutoring programs, clubs and/or improving other areas of community.

To qualify for this scholarship you must meet these minimum requirements
- Minimum high school CGPA of 3.5 or completed Associate's/Bachelor's degree with minimum CGPA of 3.4
- Document and describe all clubs, groups, organizations, etc. in which you have been involved and give detailed examples of your role and accomplishments within each organization

Dedication Scholarships

This scholarship was developed to recognize students currently serving or those who have previously served in the U.S. military or reserves while attending the UAT-Online undergraduate program. We are looking for those individuals who have a true dedication to our country and hope to learn and use technology in order to make a difference within it.

To qualify for this scholarship you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Current or previous service in the U.S. military or reserves
- No minimum GPA requirement
- Documentation of prior technology experience and excellence within the military (i.e. military awards, technology-related military accomplishments, etc.)

Curiosita Scholarship

This scholarship was created to help us further that goal. Curiosita, one of Leonardo da Vinci's seven principles, means "an insatiably curious approach to life and an unrelenting quest for continuous learning." UAT's Curiosita scholarship was developed for those individuals with past technological experience and accomplishments who have the desire to push forward in their lifetime pursuit of education and take their technological skills to the next level.

To qualify for this scholarship you must meet these minimum requirements:
- High level of technical accomplishment
- No minimum GPA requirement
- Document and describe any and all awards or certifications received in technology. This may include technology organizations/ clubs of which you are an active member, any awards/certifications/ promotions received and/or any accomplishments you are currently pursuing in regards to technology.
