I have worked as an office assistant for the Art Institute of California while attending said University. Most of my work experience lies within the closthing/retail industry. In California, where I had most of my retail experience I was very fortunate to work for various boutiques in the trendy streets of Melrose located in Hollywood. There I had the opportunity to provide customer service to famous customers, such as musicians and actors.
Why I love my job:
I love the fact that I am working in an institution for education, thus I find myself submerged in an intensely creative atmosphere that in turn motivates my endeavors.

I started working in the Admissions world while I was in college at Gonzaga University. I served as a student ambassador leading tours and helping coordinate our weekend overnight program, worked as a Residence Assistant in the Freshman dorm, and coordinated all of the academic events for Summer and Fall orientation my senior year. I spent the next four years working and teaching theatre before I returned to the world of Admissions. I started working at the University of Advancing Technology as the New Student Coordinator in May of 2007. I have recently transitioned into the Manager Training program and the role of Senior Communications Coordinator. I supervise and supoort the Communications Department.
Why I love this job:
I had a wonderful college experience and in my position I not only get to work with wonderful people, but I get to help students find out if the University of Advancing Technology is going to be the school for them.
