Military
The service, dedication and sacrifices made by the men and women serving our nation in the United States military are recognized by the University of Advancing Technology. Whether you are on active duty, are a reservist or are a veteran, UAT has a variety of program offerings, learning delivery options and financial aid opportunities that will allow you to achieve your educational goals in a way that meets your needs.

Whether you are seeking to advance in a civilian career, complement your military skills or pursue a fresh path in advancing technology, UAT is committed to your success.

Things you should know:

  • UAT maintains ongoing relationships with several U.S. government organizations. As a Center of Academic Excellence as designated by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security, we offer Information Assurance students a curriculum that is on target with our nation's security needs. We were also singled out by the Department of Defense to begin work on a series of multimedia projects that will allow UAT students to receive valuable internships.
  • UAT is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and a Member of the North Central Association.
  • UAT is a member of the Arizona Veterans Association.
  • UAT is proud of its designation as a Military Friendly School

Dedicated Staff

UAT has dedicated staff and resources for that will allow you to work through the application, admissions and enrollment processes, as well as help you find available funding for your education.

Military Aid

UAT created its Dedication Scholarship specifically for incoming active or reserve military students.  Learn more about this and other scholarships and financial aid opportunities including the Yellow Ribbon GI Enhancement Programmilitary and veteran's benefits, general military scholarships, how to use your G.I. Bill and other financial aid opportunities to begin or continue your education, and other important information for active, reserve and retired personnel.

UAT-Online

As all military personnel know, life doesn't always allow you to be where you want when you want to be there. Because of this, many of our students choose to attend UAT-Online. In this program, students concentrate their studies in three 5-week courses per semester, taken completely online, allowing them to begin or continue their college education in a manner that offers complete freedom in their personal schedules.

Degree Offerings

UAT offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in several areas of advancing technology, including Information Security, Advancing Computer Science, Game Studies and New Media.

Transfer Credits

Your previous education and military experience may help you receive college credit prior to enrolling at UAT. This will allow you to graduate sooner and save you valuable time and tuition dollars. Explore your Transfer Credit opportunities.
