UAT: Financial Need Scholarships

UAT is committed to helping all qualified students attend the University. Financial Need Scholarships are designed to recognize and alleviate the financial burden of attending college while giving students the opportunity to give something back to their community. The Financial Needs scholarships are divided into the following categories: Community Service Focused, First Generation College Student, and Academic/Technologically Accomplished.

To maintain UAT Financial Need Scholarship eligibility, all recipients must do the following:

Maintain required college GPA for scholarship
Make satisfactory progress toward completion of UAT degree objectives
Uphold any and all stipulations set forth in the scholarship contract

UAT seeks to honor students entering UAT who have made significant contributions to community service and/or community-based teaching or research.

To qualify for this scholarship you must meet these minimum requirements:
- No minimum GPA requirement
- Completed the FAFSA
- Description/documentation of all extracurricular and community activities, awards received and technological accomplishments.

First Generation Scholarship

UAT seeks to honor first generation college students who have a passion for technology and demonstrate an ability to succeed academically and technologically and to overcome obstacles.

To qualify for this scholarship you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- First generation college student in your family (First Generation is defined as a student whose parents have never enrolled in post secondary education.)
- Completed the FAFSA
- Minimum high school CGPA of 3.4
- Description/documentation of history/continuing involvement in advanced education and/or community activities.

Well Rounded Geek

UAT awards this scholarship to students entering UAT who are well rounded academically and technologically and who are community-minded.

To qualify for this scholarship you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Completed the FAFSA
- Minimum high school CGPA of 3.3 or completed Associate's/Bachelor's degree with minimum CGPA of 3.2
- Description/documentation of technological involvement (i.e. work, clubs, extracurricular activities, certification programs, etc.).
