Academics

  • UAT offers 20 undergraduate degrees in advancing technology disciplines, including our most popular majors: Game Design, Game Programming, Network Security, Technology Forensics, Digital Video, and Robotics and Embedded Systems.
  • UAT offers 5 graduate degrees in such disciplines as Advancing Computer Science, Emerging Technologies, Game Production and Management, Information Assurance and Technology Leadership.
  • UAT combined educational "global best practices" with its own research to create a learning model called Synchronic Learning.

Acceptance Rate: The following data reflects the students that were accepted between January 1st-December 31st of the following years:

Academic Progress

Retention Rate is the number of students enrolled in UAT in the Fall semester that are still enrolled at the university a year later. This includes continuing enrollment, new enrollment, graduates and withdrawn students.
  • Retention Rate - 76.72% as measured from July 2010 to June 2011.

Persistence Rate is the number of students that return semester to semester.
  • Persistence Rate - 90.62% of students who started their degree in Fall of 2011 persisted, continuing through their first semester.

Graduation Rate is the number of first-time freshmen starting class in the Fall semester only, divided by the number of this group who graduate within five years.
  • Graduation Rate - 35% of the freshmen starting class in Fall of 2005 graduated within five years.
  • If we include the number of freshmen starting that semester who attended another school prior to UAT and transferred in credits to their program of study, the Graduation Rate is 42%.
